Youth Meetings Youth News

Weekly youth meetings are on Sundays at 6 PM.  The meetings are a time for youth to catch up with one another and to bond together as a Christian support group.  During each meeting an adult leader challenges the group with a Bible based devotion.  Following the group devotion the youth group merges to the Family Life Center where we have supper together and then we recreate together.  We normally end at 7:45 PM.

Would You Bow Down To An Idol For a Moment of Fame?

Faced with the this same decision, Leslie Nease chose to remain faithful to God by standing up for Him instead of bowing to a statue of Buddha.  Read the article about her decision to sacrificed a long time dream of being on "Suvivor" in order to remain faithful to God Almighty by clicking on the link below.  Once you are done reading go to our blog spot and share your thoughts about Leslie Nease's stand for God.

PBC Youth Mission Statement
"Growing in Christ Together"

The Polkville Baptist Youth Ministry serves young men and women who are in the 6th grade through the 12th grade.
The goal of the ministry is to:

     1. Challenge youth to go deeper in their faith

     2. Provide youth with the opportunity to serve others through
         missions

     3. Equip youth to share their faith so they might lead others to
         accept Salvation through Jesus Christ.

     4. Provide an atmosphere so that youth can worship, develop
         friendships, and play together.
